Humans are a mystery to me. I can’t help but feel both isolated but at the same time, connected. I draw cosmic portraits of people with stories and use my intuition to translate a living subject to a 2D avatar living in the folds of a different universe enveloped by the very same soul retained in their present corporeal bodies— thus the name of which I call my portraits “Divine Avatar.”
Dysnomia is the Greek goddess of Lawlessness. It is also a moon on the dwarf planet of Eris— it was named after Lucy Lawless, or also known as the warrior princess, Xena. Daft? That’s just because I love DaftPunk— pre-commercial DaftPunk of course (I’m talking Homework era) and how they have become world-famous without ever revealing their identity. For me, it’s all about the art and the lore, and less about me.
