Kay Wren

Kay is a watercolour artist from Western Canada. Her work explores mythological themes and how they present themselves in our daily lives. She paints the stories, myths, and ideas that have been around for centuries along with the creatures, flora, and fauna that are a part of our visual language. Her paintings are made using traditional watercolour and ink and at times digital techniques to enhance the natural gradients and textures of the pigments.
