This collection is my first foray into generative art and I'm really excited about this mode of creating. I wrote the code to generate these unique, animated, mandala-like patterns and before generating each piece, I manually set the fill shapes and sizes, number of spokes, and colors. After a pattern is generated, I decide whether to mint it and if so, manually adjust the tempo, duration, and point of reversal for the flow before finalizing each piece. The resultant piece features the pattern being created, frame-by-frame, growing from nothing to a soothing, colorful design and then subsiding again into nothing. The engineer in me found peace in working through the code, and the artist (and human) in me, finds peace in watching the patterns. My hope is that there’s a piece in this collection that appeals to everyone; that everyone can lose themselves in the pattern, flow, and colors of at least one work.

I recently began exploring creating art with the help of AI (not my own code). It's fascinating! My first collection in this genre is a set of "Surreal Universe" pieces which are based on my own digital art, enhanced with selectively curated text- and image-based AI.

Two of my works were selected as fabrics for the World of Women/Fabricant garment drop, including an animated fabric version of Meditations in Orange 7. This was the only animated fabric in the entire drop! The collection was an exciting success and the reveals were even more enchanting than expected. While we were able to see a preview of garments during the minting process, it's been fascinating to see them "come to life" in their rendered glory.
