Andy Nguyen is Opening a Bored Ape-Themed Burger Restaurant in California
On April 9th, entrepreneur Andy Nguyen will open "Bored & Hungry," a Bored Ape-themed restaurant in Long Beach. In the packaging and uniforms used at "Bored & Hungry," Nguyen will exhibit Bored Ape #6184, as well as two Mutant Apes.
Nguyen has expressed interest in incorporating crypto and NFTs into his latest restaurant idea in recent interviews. To take advantage of the popularity of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, he decided to purchase Bored Ape #6184 and a pair of Mutant Apes. Nguyen is thought to have spent around $267,000 on Bored Ape #6184.
Nguyen, on the other hand, isn't only interested in promoting his Bored Ape as a brand. Nguyen informed the press that he aims to deliver a unique dining experience by utilizing the Bored Ape ecosystem and Web3 technologies.
Nguyen hinted that "Easter eggs" relating to the NFT will be hidden around the "Bored & Hungry" eatery. Nguyen claims he wants to build a Bitcoin ATM and accept multiple cryptocurrencies to make his restaurant more crypto-friendly.
The trademark meal of "Bored & Hungry" will be the onion-heavy "Thrill Burger," but vegetarians can opt for the plant-based Beleaf burger. Nguyen already has a Thrill Burger in Houston, and he owns the Beleaf Better Burgers restaurant in Los Angeles.
