Cool Cats Announces a Strategic Partnership with Animoca Brands‍

‍Cool Cats non-fungible token (NFT) project has just announced a strategic collaboration with the Web3 gaming software company Animoca Brands.

The partnership was established as a result of a long-standing relationship between Ken Cron, executive chairman of the Cool Cats Group, and Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands. Working closely with Animoca Brands, according to Cron, should bring "tremendous value " to the Cool Cats community.

On September 1, Cool Cats also revealed a partnership with GAMEE, a division of Animoca Brands that created a virtual casual gaming hub for users, businesses, and game developers. Holders of Cool Cats have had access to exclusive NFT claims, raffles, and community prizes as a result of the GAMEE collaboration.

“Cool Cats is a leading example of metaverse native IP based on the principle of decentralized ownership,” said Siu. “Ken is one of the most experienced gaming and media executives in the world, and it has been my pleasure to have him as an Advisor to Animoca Brands’ Board of Directors for the past two years. Our belief in what the Cool Cats team has built, along with our commitment to the NFT space – which we believe will unlock the next frontier of gaming – could not be stronger.”

Cool Cats is a collection that consists of 9,999 generative NFTs based on the "Blue Cat" figure created by artist Colin Egan. The collection surged on launch day in July 2021 and has since grown to be a blue-chip NFT collection, positioning Cool Cats Group LLC as a prominent participant in Web3.

With this recent partnership, both businesses should be able to offer their respective communities brand-new, and engaging gaming experiences. Besides that, the floor price of Cool Cats NFTs has substantially decreased from its peak of 25.75 ETH on OpenSea back in October 2021, yet the Cool Cats team has continued to be very busy despite the bear market.
