Deadfellaz NFT Project Signs an Exclusive Deal with UTA
Deadfellaz, an NFT collection with Reese Witherspoon, Lionel Richie, Steve Aoki, Dillon Francis, and Alexis Ohanian as holders, has signed an exclusive deal with United Talent Agency (UTA) for representation in all areas including partnerships, merchandising, gaming, and live events.
The Deadfellaz project has 10,000 different NFTs of the collection's zombie characters, similar to other generative NFT art collections like CryptoPunks and Bored Apes, which include profile pictures of the aforementioned characters with a range of various traits. Holders of the Deadfellaz NFT, often known as "The Horde," have access to virtual events and new collections, among other perks.
According to OpenSea, the collection, which has a market cap of $38 million, is sold on the Ethereum blockchain and has so far generated 26.7K ETH, or nearly $82 million in sales.
"Very bullish on the future," Deadfellaz co-founder "Betty" tweeted, announcing the signing of the agreement with UTA, which has previously signed partnerships with CryptoPunks, Meebits, and Autoglyphs.
UTA will collaborate with the Deadfellaz co-creators to broaden the project into new mediums such as brand partnerships, merchandising, gaming, and live events.
“It is an honor and a pleasure to work with the team at UTA, who understand both the web3 space and our vision for Deadfellaz deeply,” said Betty. “This relationship combined with our boundary pushing innovation paints a very exciting picture for the future of The Horde.”
