Gucci Teams up with SuperRare to Launch the Vault Art Space
Gucci partnered with SuperRare to launch the Vault Art Space, an online exhibition showcasing the work of contemporary artists utilizing non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and other types of digital art. The new marketplace, which is devoted to curated NFTs, aims to support diversity and the pioneers of contemporary art.
The first show, "The Next 100 Years of Gucci," will feature a few NFTs that turn the codes of the fashion house's past and present into symbols of its future.
Alanna Vanacore, Alex Trochut, Alien Queen, Aliendope, Antoni Tudisco, Drew Young, eBoy, Kris Andrew Small, Tyler Spangler, VEXX, Slam J, and more artists have been selected for the NFT collection.
Gucci and SuperRare will host three Twitter Spaces for the debut of "The Next 100 Years of Gucci." Artists will talk with philosopher, artist, curator, and writer Rowynn Dumont about creating and collecting art in the contemporary environment. The discussions will be recorded and made available for later listening on the Gucci Podcast, which is accessible on all major podcast streaming platforms.
The exhibition will be auctioned off directly from the Vault's website in three drops between June 23rd and July 1st, July 7th and July 15th, and July 21st and July 29th, 2022. All NFTs will be available for purchase in ETH.
