Liverpool Club Launches its First NFT Collection 'LFC Hereos Club'‍

Liverpool FC is foraying into the world of NFTs with the launch of its inaugural LFC Heroes NFT collection. Each of the team's 23 iconic players, as well as their superstar manager, Jürgen Klopp, will be featured in the collection.

The digital collectibles 'Legendary' and 'Hero Edition' will be available for purchase during a three-day sale from Wednesday, March 30 to Friday, April 1. As part of its dedicated sustainability initiative, The Red Way, LFC is committed to having a positive impact on the environment. As a result, the three-day sale will take place and be managed on the Polygon blockchain.

Each NFT will have a mix of Match Mode, Fresh Mode, and Super Mode traits for their bodies, arms, and heads, with the traits becoming more extravagant as the NFT's rarity mode increases. Until a purchase is made, the player residing in each NFT will remain unrevealed.

Owners will not only receive an exclusive NFT showcasing a football hero worth millions of dollars, but they will also gain access to an LFC community forum, unique experiences, virtual hang-outs, competitions, guest appearances, updates from the LFC Foundation, and LFC retail discounts.

The club will also donate 50% of Legendary 1/1 proceeds, 10% of limited edition Hero proceeds, and 10% of resale royalties to the LFC Foundation, the club's official charity that strives to provide sustainable and long-term development to areas of high deprivation.
