Mystic Moose Muster $5M For Extra-Terrestrial Metaverse ‘Planet Mojo’

Award-winning indie game developer Mystic Moose has announced the closing of a $5 million fundraiser. The funds will be used to build a recently disclosed blockchain metaverse: Planet Mojo.

The funding round was run by Animoca Brands, with contribution also coming from Courtside Ventures, Republic Crypto, Alameda, AU21, Sfermion, Polygon Studios, Collab+Currency, Sky Vision Capital, Spartan Capital, HyperEdge,Momentum6, Fourth Revolution Capital, and others.

Planet Mojo is an auto chess game redesigned for blockchain technology. The game tells the story of a new alien world which is battling nature and machine against one another, where players can explore, and compete in a variety of interconnected tactical strategy games, beginning with an Auto Chess title. Through owning teams as NFTs, users can participate in cross-platform PvP and play-to-earn mechanics, whilst also experiencing augmented reality and charitable eco-friendly features.

Q1 2022 will see Planet Mojo issue a set of 10,000 generative 3D animated NFT ‘Mojos’, which will be directly used in the game. Also, there will be further perks on offer to early adopters of the game, however, at this moment in time,their attributes are still undisclosed.

The development team behind the extra-terrestrial metaverse boasts over 25 years of gaming-development experience. The team contains experts from an array of renowned game developers, including EA, Activision, LucasArts and HappyGiant.
