Paris Hilton Partners with the Sandbox & Drops a Sick Music Set at the SXSW

Paris Hilton, an entrepreneur, fashion influencer, DJ, NFT fan and web3 enthusiast is collaborating with The Sandbox. 

As part of the contract, Paris Hilton will get LAND parcels and an official Sandbox avatar in her likeness. Although there are little clues about what Paris Hilton is planning, early rumors imply that games, fashion presentations, and NFTs will all play a part in her new virtual estate.

This isn't the first time Paris Hilton has dabbled in the metaverse with her brand and personality. Hilton debuted on the famous game site Roblox last year. Hilton also designed a Roblox virtual island named "Paris World," which was inspired by her Beverly Hills house.

Paris Hilton has been a strong advocate of web3 and NFTs. According to recent reports, Hilton has over 1500 NFTs, including Bored Ape Yacht Club. Hilton also collaborated with SUPERPLASTIC to build her own set of NFTs dubbed "Paris: Past Lives, New Beginnings."

“I’m so excited and honored to be a part of this important moment for The Sandbox. I am a huge believer in the metaverse and the way web3 technologies are empowering creators, gamers, and artists,” said Hilton. 

In addition to that, Paris Hilton made her metaverse DJ debut at SXSW on March 15th, 2022 in Austin with a special DJ set.

Paris Hilton isn't the only high-profile celebrity on The Sandbox right now. In fact, The Sandbox is said to be collaborating with at least 200 A-list celebrities and brands to expand its metaverse.
