Snoop Dogg to Launch 10,000 NFT Avatar in The Sandbox

After the recent release of his new album as an NFT, Snoop Dogg is now taking a step further into the metaverse with a new set of avatars to be launched in the Sandbox. 

After a successful foray into the metaverse with 'Snoopverse,' a gaming universe that is a part of The Sandbox that was unveiled in late 2021, the hip hop legend, Snoop Dogg, is back with yet another collaboration with The sandbox. Snoop Dogg is preparing to release his own 'Snoop Avatars' collection of 10,000 NFTs on Feb 22 in the virtual world of The Sandbox.

In his tweets, he also stated that users who have a 'Snoopverse early access pass' or a 'Snoop Dogg Private Party Pass' will be able to participate in the sale before anyone else. While Private Party passes are no longer available, users can still obtain a 'Snoopverse early access pass.' There are currently only a few Snoopverse passes available. These passes are in short supply and cost $2100 in $SAND token (at this time of press release).

The Sandbox recently invited Snoop Pass holders to join a private discord where they can discuss all things Snoop Dogg and his Avatar collection. More exciting opportunities await pass holders in the future; for now holders of Snoop passes are advised to hold on to their NFTs. 

There is a lot going on in the NFT space, and Snoop Dogg is a part of almost all of it. He is truly riding the NFT wave, as evidenced by his growing list of NFTs to Metaverse. Thus, The Sandbox's metaverse hype is becoming all too real, and someone recently paid over $450,000 (71,000 $SAND, The Sandbox's native token) to become Snoop Dogg's neighbor in the 'Snoopverse.'
