Thomas Edison Inventions to Drop as NFTs
Luckmon CEO David Son has recently announced a collaboration with Morrowbogi CEO, Song Myeong-Seok, and Chamsori Gramophone Museum and Edison Science Museum Director, Son Seong-Mok, a very unique NFT project with tangible ownership of a historical invention from American Icon Thomas Edison, suitably dubbed the Edison NFT.
Thomas Edison is one of the most well-known and prolific inventors in history. His contributions to sound recording and motion-picture cameras have changed the modern world, from the power we use to the communication system and the pleasure we've experienced. Edison's most renowned creation was the lightbulb design, and now you can own a piece of history and carry it to the metaverse.
The first lightbulb, a phonograph, and an Edison Corporation stock certificate are examples of inventions that correspond to NFTs. Artificial intelligence will also be used by the project's creators to restore Edison's speech and produce descriptions for each creation.
The Luckman CEO, David Son, praised Seong-Mok's private collection. He went on to say that they had the same "vision and goal" of using Web3 technology to showcase Edison's contributions to modern society.
The NFTs have yet to be released, and no date has been set. People who want to learn more about the collection can visit Luckmon's official website at this link: https://www.luckmon.com/
Despite the lack of specifics in the Edison NFT press release, it follows a trend of relating actual objects to NFTs. More companies have tailored their NFT drops to have IRL utility in recent months.
