Unstoppable Domains Partners with Ready Player Me for Interoperable Metaverse Avatars
Unstoppable Domains, a Web3 domain provider, is collaborating with Ready Player Me, a cross-game digital avatar platform, to enable users to create interoperable digital identities across metaverses.
Through this collaboration, users may now build avatars using the Ready Player Me platform across a variety of decentralized apps (dApps) and metaverses. Over 650 partner apps from Unstoppable Domains and over 6,000 Ready Player Me applications, games, and metaverses will be accessible to users.
Unstoppable Domains users may now create an account on Ready Player Me and build avatars by uploading a photo of themselves to have an avatar created in their likeness or by selecting an avatar from the library of Ready Player Me avatars.
According to Sandy Carter, Senior Vice President of Unstoppable Domains, the integration not only improves users' digital identities but also grants them access to a wide range of Web3 technologies, Shen further stated that the Unstoppable profile may serve as the hub of a digital identity that functions "across all of your favorite metaverses."
Unstoppable has put a lot of effort into making its Web3 IDs interoperable and accessible. It secured $56 million in Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz in August 2022. It also launched a smartphone app that simplifies access to wallets, dApps, and metaverses.
