Vintagemozart

This collection was about returning to my roots, I’ve been a digital artist for many years and I have always yearned the opportunity to return to making art in the form I was trained in [drawing and painting]. I was never in a position to make or showcase my illustrative pieces because numerous hurdles came into my path. The collection of drawings is a testament to myself to reignite the flame I had for drawing in my younger years. The pieces displayed are documented artifacts showcasing my growth and how I have transitioned to the digital art form of drawing. In the collection you will see abstract portraiture, along with abstract expressionism all hand drawn. The experiment has been a lovely journey understanding my mental state and how it affects the outcome of the art I am making. Each piece was made in Procreate with an afro-surrealist creative direction.
